Ghana and Sweden announced conclusion of negotiation of carbon market bilateral agreement at COP27

During COP26 in Glasgow, the rulebook for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement is being negotiated. Although the rulebook is not yet fully completed, it is possible to cooperate internationally. Sweden and Ghana have now agreed to work together to achieve emission reductions and by doing so lead the way in the implementation of Article 6.
